Muslim (2262)إِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ رُؤْيَا يَكْرَهُهَا فَلْيَنْفُثْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلَاثًا وَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ثَلَاثًا وَلْيَتَحَوَّلْ عَنْ جَنْبِهِ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَيْهِ
Idha ra'a ahadukum ru'ya yakrahuha falyanfuth 'an yasarihi thalathan wal yata'awwadh billahi minash-shaytani thalathan wal yatahawwal 'an janbihi alladhi kana 'alayh.
When one of you sees a dream he dislikes, let him spit lightly to his left three times, seek refuge in Allah from Satan three times, and turn over to his other side.
Virtue
The Prophet ﷺ taught that these three actions prevent the bad dream from harming the person.
