In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers in the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.

Tafsir

Surah An-Nas seeks refuge in Allah as the Lord, King, and God of mankind from the retreating whisperer (Shaytan) who breathes evil into hearts. It protects against temptations and evil thoughts, whether from jinn or humans. Its morning recitation purifies the mind for the day ahead.
