Voluntary prayer details (Sunnah)
Fajr (Dawn)
2 rak'ah before (highly recommended, the Prophet ﷺ never missed them)
Dhuhr (Noon)
4 rak'ah before (2+2) and 2 rak'ah after
Asr (Afternoon)
No Sunnah Rawatib. It is forbidden to pray voluntary prayers after the Asr prayer until sunset.
Maghrib (Sunset)
2 rak'ah after
Isha (Night)
2 rak'ah after + Witr prayer (1, 3 or more, odd number)
