Sourate Al-Furqan (25:74)رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yunin waj'alna lil-muttaqina imama
Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous.
Tafsir
This verse is the supplication of the servants of the Most Merciful ('Ibad ar-Rahman) who ask Allah to make their spouses and children a source of joy and piety, and to make them guides for the believers. It is the ideal supplication for those seeking a pious spouse.
